Websites for detailers

A page that books the bay.

What a detailer's one page needs, the mistakes that cost bookings, and a worked example you can open on your phone.

$495 for the first ten sites, then $850. Built in 48 hours, yours to keep.

The page

What the page needs.

Five things, in the order a customer looks for them. If your current page has them, it is doing its job. If it is missing some, start there.

Three things, priced for the car.

A short list, each one with a price and what it includes, and the time it takes. Twenty packages and "starting at" prices make people phone around. Three honest ones make them book.

Your own before and after photos.

Real cars, your bay, your light. A manufacturer's product photo tells a customer nothing about your work. A swirl free black hood under your lights tells them everything.

The way to book, in the first screen.

Text to book is fine for a one person shop; say so, and put the number where a thumb lands. If you use a booking page, link it, but keep the prices and the photos on your page where Google can read them.

The guarantee, in a sentence.

How long the coating is guaranteed, what happens if the job takes longer than quoted, whether the quote is the price. One sentence each. These are the lines people screenshot and send to their partner.

Where the bay is and what to expect.

Address or service area, hours, whether you come to them, how long the car is in the bay, and what to bring. The fewer questions they have to text, the more of them book.

The usual

The mistakes that cost bookings.

  • A price list where every line says "starting at." People read it as "more than that."
  • Photos from the product brand instead of your own cars.
  • Twenty packages with names nobody understands.
  • A contact form instead of a number. Detailing is booked by text, not by form.
  • Instagram only, so the person searching "ceramic coating near me" never finds you.

A worked example.

Blackwater Detailing is a fictional studio built to show the standard: three services priced before the car moves, one car in the bay at a time, the guarantee in a sentence, and a line that says the number you are quoted is the number you pay. Open it on your phone and notice that nothing on it needs explaining. Every concept on this site is a fictional business and says so on screen; it is the standard, not a client.

What you get
